Heidi had her wedding ceremony on a warm and sunny day, in the
wilds of Pennsylvania (ok, Dauphin, PA) on October 12, 2003. The place was
the Peter Allen House, which has an extensive outside setting, perfect for
a wedding. This is the podium, ready for the ceremony ahead.
Heidi and Chad had been dating over 15 years, if I remember correctly. That's a heck of a long time! I met Heidi my freshman year of college, and she'd already been dating him for years by then. When I got the invitation I knew I had to attend, even if I had no clue how to get there. When does such a thing as directions stop me?
I took a cab to the wedding as I didn't have a car. It was a bit of a long and windy drive, from what I recall, and it's apparently on a "mountain". This is why I joke it's in the wilds of Pennsylvania. (The joke being that the wilds of PA aren't very wild at all, I may be the only person to think this is funny, but it's my webpage so too bad if you don't.)
I had a great driver, he knew exactly where it was, told me it was a lovely
place to have a wedding. He was so right, and since I got there with some
time to spare, I took some photos. A lot of photos. What can I say, even
if it's not really in the wilderness, it's still pretty darn beautiful.

| The drive up to the Peter Allen House. I was pretty much the first guest to arrive. Oops. | The house itself, which was lovely both inside & out. You'll see some of the inside in a bit. |

| It's hard to tell because it's still daylight, but there are little lights wrapped around the tree, all a-sparkle. | |

| Another view of the house, you can see the white tents on the left, that's where we had dinner, which was delicious. |
