It was a sad day, my last as a volunteer. Not because other people were sad, but because I was having such a good time and I didn't want to lose that! Anyway, animal photos first, then the good stuff after - people photos from our trip to Mary Ann's for Justin's birthday.

I got zero photos of Ella today, but a couple nice ones of the silvery marmosets. I wonder if they coordinate that amongst themselves? They look so innocent...
The red panda with her tongue sticking out. Maybe she's trying to tell me something.
A Burmese mountain tortoise in the rain. Very pretty, isn't he? We got distracted by a baby mouse and speculations that it wasn't a mouse at all.
This, however, is definitely a baby snow monkey. I just don't know which one. Both moms and babies, with poor Manny shuttled of the side now that there are younger and cuter babies.
Manny shimmies down the side of a rock ...and joins Flash in the water.

And now, the people...

From left: Steve, Justin and Josh, mugging darkly for the camera (due to a slight lighting miscalculation). And take two...I think I prefer take one, just because there's a tad bit more Mafia-esque attitude.
Justin and I pose for a photo for his desk. Then it was time to celebrate Justin's birthday! Emily was ready!
Filomena and Emily mug, this time without chips. I think this was take number four, or maybe five?
Justin and Yasmeen, laughing their heads off as usual. And Filomena, Emily and I doing basically the same.
Emily gets crazy with me. And tries to with Josh and Jeanne.
